This is list three of four of my Ultimate Toy List: the Ultimate Toy List for Creativity! These toys listed below focus on creative aspects of play, with both indoor and outdoor activities.
I love to hear my children play make-believe and use their imaginations. I love when they spend all day coloring, painting, or playing Play-Doh.
And I love playing with them!
Plus, children learn problem solving skills through creative and pretend play! It is so interesting to see them bring their imagination to life!
I hope you can find some fun toys and activities to entertain your kids, or to enjoy together!

Such a fun camera! We have three of them! And all fun & games until the kids pick the lock while you’re using the bathroom and snap some photos. Fair warning. For ages 3-10.
This all-in-one beginner pottery wheel and painting kit is wonderful for creativity and an excellent sensory activity. Recommended age is 8 years and older.
Where are my puzzle people at? We LOVE puzzles! I love that this one shows the different cultures across the world! For ages 3 to 6 years old.
No needle sewing machine for ages 6 years and up! As a mother, I love that kids can learn to sew at a young age and still be safe. As they get older, I can upgrade to a classic sewing machine.
I have a love-hate relationship with these. My kids LOVE them, but honestly, with four kids the noise doesn’t stop. But it helps children to experiment with sounds, beat, and rhythm, so I suppose its worth it. For ages 3 years and up.
This is loud but still so awesome for my kids. We have dance parties, make up songs, have a family band! SO many hours of entertainment with this! For ages 3 and up.
I have four little chefs that love to help mommy cook and I hope they never outgrow that! This is an awesome kit to keep your kids involved in the kitchen. For ages 3 years and up.
I’m already a lover of rock painting and this one is glow in the dark! Great for enhancing creativity! For ages 4-10.
This certainly trumps the socks we normally use for hand puppets in our house! We love a good puppet show! For ages three years and up.
My kids love to design these then gift them to their grandparents! Such a fun family activity, too! For ages 6 years and up.
This is a certainly satisfying activity! My kids love it too! Awesome for creative and sensory skills for ages 3 years and older.
Girl mamas need this! My 6-year-old daughter makes us all jewelry, even her daddy, and she’s always so proud of her creations!
This has been around for years and is such a classic. My parents bought this for my daughter, and they played and doodled for hours together! For ages 3 and up, but honestly young children will need guidance.
Most of us parents have Play-Doh lying around, I think. So this is a great accessory kit to create animals and characters! There are small pieces so I wouldn’t buy for children under age 3.
My four-year-old is OBSCESSED with dinosaurs so how perfect is this! I love that kids can imagine and create their own dinosaur. For ages 5-8.
This was a rite of passage when I was in elementary school, and my mom still has mine in her basement. This is a great screen-free activity that encourages artistic expression and helps strengthen hand-eye coordination. For ages 5-15.
Such a fun windchime kit and a perfect little addition to our porch! This kit will make 1 windchime and is for kids 8 years of age and older. Be prepared to help during assembly!
Great little kit for a quiet activity at home or on a road trip! I love that it comes with a carrying case! For ages 3-14 years.
This was such a hit at Christmas! There are different designs available too! Barn, castle, dinosaur house, unicorn playhouse, and more! I think we got three different designs and colored and played for days. For ages three years and up.
Fun, creative activity for school aged children! The wooden stylus is sharp so definitely not for younger kids!
What makes a child feel more like an artist than an easel? We have one of these at my parents’ house and it’s a big hit. For ages 3-12 (adjustable legs so you can change the height)!
Perfect creative activity for 2 to 5 year-olds! No mess or worry about drawing on walls or furniture like with markers.
We play tic-tac-toe, hopscotch, bike paths, and fun drawings! We love chalk and being creative. Great for kids of all ages.
Perfect doodle board for church, road trips, and quiet time at home. We have one each for our three oldest children. For ages 3-8.
Fun activity as a family! Once my children are a little older, we will upgrade to this. Right now, they are happy with my paper airplane skills. Not for children under 3 years of age.
I LOVED creating this list!
These activities will provide HOURS of entertainment for your kiddos, without the screen time!
I’ve included the links to the other three lists below. I hope you can find what you’re looking for here!
